My name is Mercedes and I live in sunny San Diego County, California. I'm currently in the second semester of my senior year of high school making schoolwork usually the antagonist of my day. Like most high school students, I live with my mom at the moment although I plan on vacating (read: getting the hell out of here) by the end of 2009. For the most part, I coexist happily with the other denizens of my beachside hamlet, but there are a few that I downright despise and will whine about constantly.

Most of my journal is unsurprisingly dedicated to my school life, including but not limited to: homework, my friends (Marina, Gwenny Penny, Caro, Carlos, Oxy and the rest of the table gang), my extracurriculars and my seemingly never-ending effort to get into college. What's left is divided up among fandom (Skins, How I Met Your Mother, random movies) and random posts ("I LOVE TACOS - especially with cheese!"). If you chose to enter, have fun and don't panic. I pick myself up well.
